There were three front page stories printed in Zimbabwe’s largest newspaper, The Herald, about the lights in the sky seen over Zimbabwe in 1994. The first on 15 September, the day before the alleged UFO and alien sighting at the Ariel school in Ruwa. The second the day after on Saturday 17 September. A third article, 8 October, identifies the lights as more likely caused by the re-entry of Russian rocket Cosmos 2290, rather than meteors.
